The Pubs

The Three Horseshoes

Situated at the top of Efflinch Lane, visit the car park where your bear can get their Passport stamped. High Wire is out on location! We also hear rumours of Giant Yorkie Wraps, aka Sunday Lunch on the go. Delicious!

The Shoulder of Mutton

Opposite the War Memorial, smack in the centre of the village, a great vantage point to watch all the fun. Usually offering a BBQ and ice creams.

The Middle Bell

Opposite the Co-op, just inside the road closure point, and blessed with a huge outdoor seating area. Renovated in 2025 and looking good. Usually offering pulled pork baps. Yum!

Vin-X

Our very own high-end, fancy pants wine bar. We are a sophisticated bunch! Think perfectly chilled wine, delicious nibbles and a certain atmospheric je ne sais quoi. Situated just inside the road closure, opposite the Bell, and taking over the road with outdoor tables and Bear themed treats (probably – we might need to convince them!).

Two Pigs

Also opposite the Co-op, Two Pigs Barton brings Michelin standard cuisine to our village. This is their first year so we’re excited to see what they’ll do over the teddy weekend!

The Bowler

Take a detour down Dunstall Road, and you’ll find the Teddy Bear Beach Party in full swing at the Bowls Club!

The Royal Oak

Head down Wales Lane, taking in the glorious Scarecrows on your way (don’t forget to vote!), and you’ll find the Royal Oak. Enjoy the pizza and donut vans in the Bear Village – we don’t know what that is yet and we can’t wait to find out!

The Royal Oak

This year hosting Teddy Bestival!
